New Hampshire police: Intoxicated driver crashed into living room, injured woman

NORTHFIELD, N.H. (AP) — Police say a car slammed through the living room of a Northfield home, injuring a woman who was found stuck in a chair.

WMUR-TV reports that the incident happened around 9 p.m. Wednesday. The 51-year-old woman was taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries.

The driver was charged with driving while intoxicated. Officials say the house has been shored up but won’t be inhabitable until repairs are made.
