Man dies, 2 others injured in Rhode Island house fire
JOHNSTON, R.I. (AP) — Officials say one person has died and two others were injured in a fire at a Rhode Island home.
Firefighters were called to the Johnston home around 4 p.m. Saturday. WJAR-TV reports an elderly couple and their son lived at the home, and the son has died.
Authorities have not released the extent of the other injuries reported.
The names of the victims have not been released.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
