Delays on six commuter rail lines – north, south and west of Boston
An inbound Kingston commuter rail train struck a broken-down pickup truck on train tracks in Weymouth on Monday, as the train system reports delays on 10 of its 12 lines during the Monday morning commute.
No one was in the truck at the time of the collision between Train 038 and truck on Pond Street and no injuries were reported, MBTA spokesman Joseph Pesaturo wrote in an e-mail. The Pond Street crossing was undamaged, he wrote.
“The motor vehicle was unoccupied at the time of impact. No injuries,’’ he wrote.
