Boston city worker shot on way to work
A Boston city worker was shot and wounded early Wednesday in Mattapan, a shooting that left a Department of Public Works vehicle with bullet holes in it.
The employee is a man in his 50s who was suffered non-life threatening injuries, according ot an official briefed on the investigation.
The shooting took place around 5 a.m. near the intersections of Morton and Fuller streets, according to the official and Boston Emergency Medical Services which dispatched ambulances to the area for a medical emergency.
The investigation by police is ongoing.
