Charlie Baker shares ‘holiday appropriate’ photo of his backyard
Some feathered visitors greeted the governor at his Swampscott home.
Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker got a timely reminder Friday morning that Thanksgiving is less than a week away when a gang of turkeys visited his house in Swampscott.
Baker shared a photo of the feathered gang exploring his backyard on Twitter.
“Seems holiday appropriate,” he wrote.

Twitter users suggested the turkeys were seeking out the Republican governor with a specific purpose, referencing a time-honored tradition of turkey pardoning.
“I think they’re looking for a gubernatorial ‘pardon’ before next week,” wrote David Bagley, a weather producer at 7News.
