Shelter looks to place 9 kittens abandoned on side of road

HOLLIS, N.H. (AP) — Police in New Hampshire are searching for the person who abandoned nine kittens on the side of the road.

WMUR-TV reports a motorist driving through Hollis found the kittens around midnight Tuesday. Police say the kittens were left with food.

The animals have been taken to the Kitty Angels shelter in Londonderry. Authorities say the cats will receive vaccinations before they’re put up for adoption.
