7 of the spookiest costumes from Halloween weekend in Salem

On the last weekend of Salem’s monthlong Halloween celebration, an estimated 100,000 people filled the town for the festivities, according to the Salem News.

From creative classics to gruesome grins, here are some of the best costumes seen at the world’s unofficial Halloween capital.

Sharon Little of Londonderry, New Hampshire was one of the street performers on the Essex Street Mall in Salem for the annual Halloween Celebration. She has been coming to the annual event for a long time, and says that this is her first time to be a street performer.
