Authorities have identified the woman who died Thursday outside a Westford Market Basket after she became pinned underneath her own vehicle.

Following the incident, emergency personnel transported Wei Wang, 64, of Acton, to Lowell General Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, according to a Friday statement from the Middlesex District Attorney’s office and Westford police.

Authorities said the preliminary investigation indicates Wang was at the back of her vehicle in the parking lot at about 11 a.m. when another vehicle that was parking struck her car, causing it to roll backward and pin her.
