Police arrest 1 after pursuit of stolen pickup truck on I-93
Police took a person into custody after a chase on Interstate 93 Tuesday morning, according to a state police Facebook post.
Starting at roughly 10:45 a.m. in Boston, MBTA Transit Police and state police pursued a suspect in a stolen pickup truck southbound on I-93, deploying stop sticks twice to try to end the chase peacefully, police said. The stolen truck sustained two flat tires.
When the pickup became disabled on Route 28 in Milton, the suspect was taken into custody by transit police officers.
Police had not released more information about the incident as of early Tuesday afternoon.
