Police: Man posed as counselor, assaulted 18-year-old woman in New Hampshire

NASHUA, N.H. (AP) — Police in New Hampshire have charged a man who they say sexually assaulted an 18-year-old woman after giving her alcohol.

WMUR-TV reports 46-year-old David Greenblatt, of Nashua, has been charged with two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault.

Police say they responded to Greenblatt’s apartment on Aug. 11 after receiving a call from the 18-year-old woman’s father. According to Nashua Police Lt. Kerry Baxter, police found the woman intoxicated at the apartment. The woman had a blood alcohol level of 0.198.

Police say Greenblatt told the woman and her family he was a drug and alcohol counselor who could help her. Authorities say Greenblatt bought alcohol, drank with the woman and sexually assaulted her over a two-day period.
