Four generations of the Bush family took in the eclipse from Maine
A total solar eclipse brought people around the country outside to see a crescent-shaped sun, which disappeared completely behind the moon within the path of totality.
The Bush family was no different, as George H.W. Bush tweeted a picture of four generations enjoying the eclipse. The photo was taken at Walker’s Point, home of the Bush compound in Kennebunkport, Maine, according to George H.W. Bush’s spokesman, Jim McGrath. Walker’s Point observed a partial eclipse, with 60 percent of the sun covered, according to Vox’s calculator.

The tweet also references the next total solar eclipse over the continental United States in 2024. Parts of Texas, and New England, will experience totality.
