Police investigate after flag is found burning at Arlington business

The Arlington Police Department is investigating after an officer noticed an American flag on fire Tuesday morning, according to a statement.
At approximately 6:15 a.m., an officer on patrol saw that a flag was on fire above Minuteman Repair at 111 Massachusetts Ave. The fire department was called, but the flag had already burned itself out by the time firefighters arrived, and was destroyed, according to police.
Police officers searched the area for suspects. One man was interviewed, but police determined he wasn’t connected to the incident.
