2 tires strike cruiser; police now looking for tractor-trailer
Massachusetts State Police are searching for a tractor-trailer that lost two tires on Interstate 84 Monday morning, resulting in severe damage to a police vehicle, according to a statement.

The tractor-trailer was traveling east when the two tires came off the tractor, police said. They struck a police cruiser parked in a construction zone at approximately 5:35 a.m.
According to police, the state trooper in the vehicle was not injured. The tractor-trailer did not stop at the scene.
State police are asking that anyone who witnessed the incident or sees a tractor-trailer missing two wheels contact Trooper Scott Shea at the State Police Sturbridge Barracks at 508-347-3352.
