An eight-alarm fire in Waltham engulfed multiple buildings and scrambled fire departments throughout the Boston area, as gusty winds continued to fuel the inferno early Sunday morning.

According to The Boston Globe, the massive blaze broke out at around 4 a.m. at at under-construction apartment complex between Elm and Cooper streets. No injuries have been reported at the site.
