A family found a shell with a heartfelt message on a Cape Cod beach

A Massachusetts woman is hoping to find an anonymous mother who penned a beautifully moving message to her son on a seashell.Cristina DiGioia Mastro posted a photo of the shell on Facebook, which she said was found on Corporation Beach in Dennis on July 12. “Matt my beautiful boy,” the shell reads. “You are missed and loved always.”Mastro, who wrote that she got “instant goosebumps” seeing the shell, urged people to share the post, hoping the woman who wrote the message will see it. “I wish this lady could know her son had fun on the beach w[ith] our kids today,” she wrote.Mastro said her family put the shell back into the ocean. “We knew this shell’s journey wasn’t over yet!” Masto said.Her post has been shared more than 50,000 times.
