Michael McCarthy is on trial and charged with killing Bella Bond, his former girlfriend’s 2-year-old daughter, in 2015. McCarthy has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder, and his lawyer has argued that it was Bella’s mother, Rachelle Bond, who killed the child.
