Funeral services set for South Boston murder victims

A funeral service for the two doctors slain in their condominium will be held Friday at the Gate of Heaven Church in the South Boston neighborhood where the couple lived.

The funeral Mass will be said for Richard S. Field and Linda Bolanos at 10 a.m., according to Terry Donilon, spokesman for the Archdiocese of Boston. The services will be closed to the media, he wrote in an e-mail.
