Aaron Hernandez’s family to get copies of suicide notes

NEW BEDFORD — The family of Aaron J. Hernandez will be able to read the three suicide notes he allegedly left behind last week when he killed himself in his cell at the Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center.

Attorney George Leontire told reporters around 12:25 p.m. that a Bristol Superior Court judge had ordered the notes to be released to the family after Leontire filed a motion Monday demanding that they be able to “know their loved one’s final thoughts.”
