1 dead after vehicle hit tree on Cape Cod

FALMOUTH, Mass. (AP) — Police say one person is dead after a vehicle crashed into a tree on Cape Cod.

The Cape Cod Times reports Falmouth police Sgt. Michael Rogers says only one person was in the vehicle at the time of crash Wednesday night in East Falmouth.

Rogers says the vehicle had extensive front-end damage. The occupant died at the scene.

State police are investigating. Further information wasn’t immediately available Wednesday night.
