The statue, which was commissioned by Boston-based State Street Corporation, is marked in pink on Google Maps, with a flag indicating its location on the iconic New York City street. A description on the website refers to the statue as “a symbol of women in leadership.”

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio announced over the weekend that the Fearless Girl would stay on Wall Street until at least February 2018. The statue was originally slated to be removed on April 2.
