Fire officials: Blaze damages Rhode Island business
SMITHFIELD, R.I. (AP) — Authorities in Rhode Island say no one was injured when a blaze heavily damaged a Smithfield business.
Deputy Fire Chief James Grenga tells The Providence Journal firefighters were called to the scene around 6:30 a.m. Sunday. The fire was quickly contained.
Grenga says no one was in the building at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported.
