Writer Stephen King mocked President Donald Trump’s unsubstantiated claims that former President Barack Obama tapped his phone by concocting a fake horror story on Twitter.

The prolific Maine author sent out three tweets Saturday lampooning the statements made by Trump on the platform earlier that morning.

In May 2016, King joined more than 450 other authors who published an open letter opposing Trump’s candidacy. Immediately following the Republican’s shocking victory, King said on Twitter that he was “shutting down,” but has since made a vocal return, weighing in on many of the actions taken by the 45th president.
