2 New England states battle more snow after nonstop storms
A winter storm has unleashed more than a foot of wet, heavy snow on parts of Maine and New Hampshire, creating a messy commute, closing schools and knocking out power for more than 10,000 homes and businesses.
James Brown from the National Weather Service says the heaviest snow was on the Maine-New Hampshire border. Sanford, Maine, recorded 18 inches in York County. And Fryeburg, Maine, recorded 16 inches in Oxford County.
The snow was wet and heavy in most places, weighing down trees and snapping limbs, leading to power outages. Central Maine Power alone reported more than 14,000 homes and businesses were in the dark.

Folks cleaning up the snow will like the forecast. The National Forecast says this was the last storm for a week or so.
