Snowboarder lost on mountain for hours dies

STOWE, Vt. (AP) — Police say a snowboarder who was lost on Vermont’s Stowe Mountain for hours has died.

Police say 22-year-old Brett Cohen, of Needham, Massachusetts, went missing around 3:30 p.m. Monday. Rescue crews found him eight hours later off a ski trail in a wooded area.

WCAX-TV reports he died Tuesday morning at a hospital.

Police are investigating.
