Bostonians are (once again) embracing space savers to deal with the snow
Digging out from the blizzard that dropped more than a foot of a snow across much of the region, Bostonians brought back a tradition for dealing with the fluffy white stuff: space savers.Anyone who has shoveled out a parking space in Boston can claim it for 48 hours with a space holder, except for the South End neighborhood, where the savers are banned. Mayor Marty Walsh warned Friday that anyone leaving threatening notes, however, will lose their space saver privilege.From laundry baskets to beach chairs, here’s a look at the objects people used to hold onto they spaces the cleared following the Blizzard of 2017:
