Boston Public Schools will be closed again on Friday in the wake of the massive snowstorm, Mayor Marty Walsh announced.

Walsh announced the closing during a Boston City TV livestream, stating that the city’s top priority was keeping its children safe. He also said that with no school buses on the roads, it will be a smoother morning commute for those heading into work on Friday morning.

The City of Boston confirmed the school cancellation in a Facebook post.
