Partners set to acquire Mass. Eye and Ear
The state’s largest health system is planning to acquire Massachusetts Eye and Ear, the specialty hospital with which it shares a deep affiliation.
“We have concluded the time is right for Mass. Eye and Ear to join an integrated healthcare system and the best choice is Partners HealthCare,” chief executive John Fernandez wrote in an email to employees Friday morning.
