WCVB, WMUR are back for New England DirecTV subscribers
DirecTV subscribers in New England can now watch WCVB (Channel 5) and WMUR (Channel 9) on their televisions, the company confirmed early Saturday.
A spat between DirecTV and Hearst Television, which owns both stations, meant that subscribers to the satellite service provider were without Boston’s WCVB and New Hampshire’s WMUR from around midnight New Year’s Eve to early Saturday.
