Walsh to push new tenant protections
Mayor Martin J. Walsh is wading into the fight over renters’ rights in Boston.
The Walsh Administration Monday proposed new rules designed protect renters from “arbitrary” evictions, including barring most landlords from clearing entire buildings all at once while creating notification requirements that could help stave off other evictions.
