Framingham mourns Brazilian soccer players killed in plane crash

FRAMINGHAM — There’s only one story Tuesday morning on Brazilian radio station A Brasileira : The shocking deaths of 76 people as a plane went down with members of a popular soccer team aboard.

Ilma Paixao, general manager of the station in Framingham, said the town’s large Brazilian community is “almost numb” after the news of the crash, which happened in Colombia on Monday.
