Male body found near Connecticut River in New Hampshire town

LEBANON, N.H. (AP) — A man’s body has been found on the banks of the Connecticut River at the base of a bridge that connects Lebanon, New Hampshire, with Hartford, Vermont.

WCAX-TV (http://bit.ly/2gBoDUl ) reports that passers-by noticed the body at about 8 a.m. Wednesday.

The body had no identification and police say they don’t know how he died nor will they say if they believe the death is suspicious.

Police are awaiting results of an autopsy to learn more.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Lebanon police.
