MBTA commuter rail hits car in Revere, occupants flee
An MBTA commuter rail hit a car in Revere Wednesday night, The Boston Globe reports.
The outbound Rockport train struck the car near the Oak Island at around 10:30 p.m.
Two people were inside the car at the time of the crash and they fled the scene, reports the Globe.
The driver is a 25-year-old Lynn man who police say was fleeing the scene of an earlier accident, according to the Associated Press. There were about 200 passengers on the train and no one was injured, authorities said.
