State police investigating hit-and-run crash involving cruiser
Massachusetts State Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash early Tuesday morning involving a marked cruiser.
The incident happened just before 3 a.m. when a taxi struck a marked police cruiser at Commonwealth Avenue and Berkeley Street, according to state police. The crash also involved two other vehicles, one of them parked, police said. No one was injured.
The taxi driver then hit a light pole and fence before fleeing the scene, police said.
State police are working to identify the name of the cab company and driver involved in the crash.
