Walpole police: Child found vodka bottle in Halloween candy bag

Walpole police are asking parents to check their child’s haul of Halloween candy after a 6-year-old apparently picked up a small bottle of vodka while trick or treating Monday night.Police said Tuesday the child found a miniature bottle of Smirnoff Green Apple vodka in his or her Halloween candy while going door to door on Haynes and Vane streets.

Any parents who find similar items in their child’s candy collection are being asked to contact Walpole police.
