Police: 70-year-old woman bound, threatened with knife in home invasion
State and local police are investigating after an elderly woman reported that three men entered her Sterling home Tuesday morning, bound her with tape and threatened her with a knife before fleeing with an undetermined amount of money.The 70-year-old woman reported the home invasion around 10 a.m. and told officers the three men were wearing masks when they threatened her and searched her home on Stephanie Anne Lane, police said. The Sterling resident was able to free herself and call 911 after the suspects fled. The suspects fled in the woman’s car, a 2004 black Cadillac Deville. Police are asking anyone who spots the vehicle with Massachusetts registration number 641-WKM to contact them.
