2 pedestrians seriously injured after being hit by truck in Woburn
Two pedestrians were seriously injured Tuesday evening after they were hit by a truck in Woburn, according to police.
Around 7 p.m., police and fire responded to 10 Common St., Woburn City Hall, for a report of a crash. Responding officers found the two victims, a 71-year-old man and a 67-year-old woman, both of Boston. The driver of the truck remained at the scene, and the crash was still under investigation, according to police.
Both victims were taken to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington with “serious, life threatening injuries,” police said. Their names were not released Tuesday night.
