State police investigating fatal motorcycle crash in Burlington

A Woburn man was killed when he was thrown from his motorcycle while driving in Burlington on Sunday, authorities say.

Police say the 67-year-old man was driving on the access road to the Middlesex Turnpike at Exit 32 when the accident happened at about 4:20 p.m.

The man, who was driving a 2014 Honda motorcycle, was thrown from his motorcycle and was found unresponsive, police said. He was taken by ambulance to Lahey Hospital in Burlington, where he was pronounced dead.

Police are withholding the man’s name, pending notification of his family.

The incident is under investigation.
