Uber driver smashes vehicle into Beacon Hill building

A driver for Uber was behind the wheel of an SUV that smashed into the side of a building on Beacon Hill Wednesday afternoon, a company official said.

Susan Hendrick, a spokeswoman for Uber, did not identify the driver. The ride-sharing company has reached out to him, she added.
