Man fatally struck by tractor-trailer on Mass. Pike in Warren
A man was struck and killed by a tractor-trailer Thursday morning on the Mass. Pike in Warren, state police said in a statement.Around 10:55 a.m., a 38-year-old Agawam man entered the right travel lane and was hit by a tractor-trailer traveling eastbound. The man’s car was parked in the breakdown lane at the time of the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene and has not been publicly identified, according to police.The tractor-trailer driver, a 50-year-old man from Syracuse, New York, stayed at the scene. Police said no charges have been field but the crash remains under investigation.
