12-year-old helps save 4 women after Springfield overdose
Four women in Springfield overdosed on heroin early Sunday morning after snorting lines of what they believed to be cocaine from a folded dollar bill, a police official said.
A 12-year-old daughter of one of the women called 911 for medical aid at 12:24 a.m. Sunday, Springfield police Sergeant John Delaney wrote in an e-mail.
