Want to watch some people in New Hampshire catapult a 1,300-pound pumpkin? Of course you do.

Who says America isn’t already great?

Some people at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon spent their Sunday catapulting and smashing pumpkins, among other items, as part of a weekend-long contest called Extreme Chunkin.

One of the pumpkins launched via giant catapult was 1,300-pounds. Here’s the video:

According to the event’s PA announcer, the toss broke a world record of sorts (presumably for heaviest pumpkin toss, though Boston.com was unable to immediately confirm the record’s authenticity).

“We did it,” yelled the announcer after the toss. Indeed.
