Officers remain in ‘critical, but stable’ condition after East Boston shooting
Both Boston police officers who were shot during a domestic dispute Wednesday night in East Boston reman in “critical, but stable” condition, according to a tweet Saturday from Boston police.

Officers Richard Cintolo and Matthew Morris both underwent another round of surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital Friday and Saturday.
“We are grateful to the staff at MGH for their life saving work,” police tweeted.
Commissioner Evans visited MGH this morning where Officer Cintolo is recovering from his surgery yesterday. He is in good spirits.
