Shooting suspect wanted to ‘revolutionize policing’
The roommate of Kirk Figueroa, the East Boston man who shot two Boston Police officers Wednesday night and then died in a firefight, said in an interview with New England Cable News that Figueroa was a secretive man who claimed to want to “revolutionize policing.”

The roommate of Kirk Figueroa, the East Boston man who shot two Boston Police officers Wednesday night and then died in a firefight, said in an interview with New England Cable News that Figueroa was a secretive man who claimed to want to “revolutionize policing.”
“Drapes over his window. Door aways locked,” said the roommate, Diego Morello, who works for NECN. “He had that military thinking, find out what he can about other people. Whenever the light turned, or when I shined a spotlight on him, he would step back a second.”
