How can you help officers? Boston police have a three-word answer
Many within the Boston community have been asking police what they can do to help after a shooting in East Boston Wednesday night left two officers critically injured.
Police offered a simple, three-word answer in a tweet Thursday, saying, “Please give blood.”

Officers Richard Cintolo, a 27-year veteran, and Matt Morris, a 12-year veteran, were both shot while responding to a report of a domestic disturbance. A vigil was held for them Thursday night.
