Man struck, killed by car in Melrose
A 51-year old man died Saturday after he was struck by a car in Melrose, authorities said.John Strileckis, a Melrose resident, was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries where he was later died, according to the Middlesex District Attorney’s office. The crash, which occurred at 5:20 a.m. on Lynde Street, is being investigated by the DA’s office, local, and state police. The driver remained at the scene after the crash and was cooperating with officials, according to Melrose police.
