Framingham man wins $1 million on scratch ticket—again

A Framingham man is on a hot streak.
Howard Rankin recently won his second $1 million instant ticket prize in a 10-month span, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery. He’s the eighth $1 million prize winner in the latest edition of the “100X The Cash” instant game.
Rankin’s previous big jackpot win was on November 12, 2015, from playing the “$2,500,000 Holiday Bonus” $10 instant game.
Both winning tickets were purchased at the same store: the Stop & Shop at 19 Temple St. in Framingham, according to the state lottery. The store is expected to receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale.
