Researchers atop Mount Washington give first glimpse of winter to come
Researchers at the Mount Washington Observatory gave a first glimpse of the upcoming winter season in a Facebook post Sunday, and, as you’d expect, it was cold, icy, and windy.

The highest peak in the Northeast was covered in fog and frost Sunday, with hurricane-force wind gusts, and temperatures around 20 degrees Fahrenheit, according to the observatory.
