Body recovered from Muddy River in Boston

A man’s body was recovered from the Muddy River, under the Bowker Overpass, in Boston on Sunday afternoon, Massachusetts State Police said.

State troopers and Boston police officers responded to the scene at about 2:30 p.m. for reports of a body in the water. Boston firefighters removed the body and determined that the man was deceased.

Police said the man has not been identified. State police assigned to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office are investigating the death.
