The survivor at the center of the sexual assault case at St. Paul’s School is set to speak out publicly for the first time Tuesday morning on the ‘Today’ show.

The show announced Monday that host Savannah Guthrie secured an exclusive interview with the girl, who will share her identity.

“She talks about what life was like on campus after the assault, what it was like to testify against Owen Labrie, and how she is doing today, and how she’s hoping to help others in that position,” Guthrie said.

Labrie was convicted last fall of sexually assaulting the girl in May 2014; she was 15 at the time. He was sentenced to a year in jail but is currently free on bail pending an appeal.

After Labrie was sentenced last October, ‘Today’ interviewed the victim’s mother. Her identity remained anonymous, her face blacked out on camera.
