Car dealership employee struck by falling branch
Brookline police are investigating what caused a tree branch to fall on a car dealership employee in an alley off of Commonwealth Avenue Tuesday afternoon, officials said.
The man was struck by a branch around 2:45 p.m., Boston police spokeswoman Myeshia Henderson said.
Brookline Police Lt. Philip Harrington said the man, a Herb Chambers employee, was taken to the hospital by Boston emergency responders. Brookline police were called to the scene — an alley next to Herb Chambers BMW at 1160 Commonwealth Ave. — at 3:12 p.m., he said.
“We’re on scene right now,” Harrington said. “We’re still waiting to piece it all together.”
